One down, five to go..........

With the pitching rotation in shambles due to Ben Sheets injury and Parra and Suppan not being able to get out anyone, CC Sabathia will start on short rest again tomorrow night vs. the Pirates. This would also set up him being able to go again on short rest the last game of the season if they would need him.
What do you think? Is this a good move? I wonder what this rotation is going to look like throughout these last five games. Yikes!
CC, then who? Gallardo is active, but probably will only be available for a couple innings Dave Sveum said.

That's because they don't want the Brewers in the playoffs. If the Mets win the wild card, they face the Cubs (which Chicago wants). If the Brewers win the wild card, you cannot face a team in the 1st round from your division so they'd have to face the Dodgers, which they don't want to do.
At least Zambrano and Harden are going the next two days as they need a normal start before the playoffs.

I take that back Cubbies! Nice win tonight. And we are tied with four to play. Have to sweep the Pirates!
