Keep Hope Alive!

Well, the Cubs held serve like we needed. The Brewers after this collasal collapse, could still find themselves in the postseason if they can salvage these last five games. Don't give up yet, keep the hope alive! Here are the pitching matchups for the next three days. Go Cubs Go, Go Cubs Go! It'll be a tough win tomorrow for the Cubs going up against Santana, and coming off clinching everything tonight. The Brewers just need to sweep the Pirates and have the Cubs win one more game!

Brewers, Timber Rattlers sign 4-year deal
By Tom Haudricourt - Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
As I reported on this blog yesterday, the Brewers officially announced today they have signed a four-year player development contract, through the 2012 season, with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers of the Class A Midwest League.
"We are eager and looking for this to be a long term relationship with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and are excited to have a minor league affiliate closer to home," said Brewers general manager Doug Melvin, who took part in the news conference in Appleton.
"The premier facilities and Brewers fan base in Appleton combined with the proximity to Milwaukee provides a great opportunity for us, and it gives our players an excellent and competitive environment to further their development."
