Is This The End?

Seriously, is this it? Can they recover from this? How can you blow a 6-2 lead with two outs in the 9th and your closer on the bump? This happens once a year at best. Why now when we need this win the most? Unbelievable! And it all started because Braun half-assed it on the little soft liner to left. Put a fork in them, they are done. I'm not even going to watch anymore. Mortgage part of the future with LaPorta to get CC, which was a good move, and now they're blowing it. CC gone, Sheets, gone. Hello 3rd place in the Central next year. Mark it down.
This is a reflection of Yost, I don't care what you think. He's started this mess, and now they'll going to be at home in October. Good think the Packers are 2-0. If the Brewers want the fall spotlight from the Packers, then they need to earn it. They're proving again why they can't get it. Thanks for the ride this summer Milwaukee, but you're done!
Any opinions? A few comments would be nice.

Upcoming blog. Fantasy Football. What a crap shoot!

C'mon Matty. Can you honestly tell me that you did't know this was going to happen? Every Brewer fan did. Don't get me wrong, we all hoped it wouldn't be this way, but really! It was fun thinking of the Crew in the playoffs. I have spent the last couple of months texting my Cardinal and Cub fans taunting them but I knew in the end it would come to this. Now the time has come for me to face the backlash of my actions. As do all the Brewer fans. We let ourselves be hopeful (fatal error).
Luckily for me, I have been working a lot lately and have only been able to see the final scores and have missed the painful drama of the games.

If fantasy football is a crap shoot, who Garys Fire Bet?

Loyalty to Jason Kendall has killed this team...and it did again yesterday. one out runners at 2 and 3 and they let Kendall hit knowing he hardly ever hits a ball deep enough to score a runner. Riveria should have caught yesterday, Kendall is worn down and is hitting .115 in September (I know they are all hitting bad, but Kendall has caught every game in September, including both games of a double header)

This season was over when the Cubs swept them the first time around. The Crew have not been able to beat good teams all year. They continue to struggle year after year with closers. Yost, certainly should have been out, last year...you can't fire your manager with 12 games left and expect the players to rally around it to get to the playoff's. Team morale is low and the shake up's to the line up are long overdue. With so little time left in the year, there is no chance to iron out any kinks.

But you're right...they are done!

I agree with most of all what was said here. However, after being swept by the Cubs the first time they weren't done. They led the wild card for another 6 weeks and were ahead by 5 games going into September.
Yost's firing was long overdue. It should have happened a long time ago, but the talent on that team kept producing and it saved his job for a long time.
I would say they are in need of a miracle being down 1 1/2 games with 9 to play and Sheets being a wimp again. If they make it, it will be unreal, but i'm not expecting it.
And besides, CARDS COACH is right. They haven't played well in a big series all year long!
